Nu-West/Leda features a punishment box like this in many of its videos. The box raises the buttocks up and effectively keeps the spankee in place with wrist, torso and leg restraints. While this can be a hoot if you enjoy bondage with your beatings, make sure you completely trust your play partner before letting him or her secure you in such a vulnerable position.

The box that I built (pictured here) works great, but if I did it again I’d make a few changes. First I’d build it out of pine instead of oak. (Much easier to work.) Then for greater comfort I’d put a 4″ foam pad on the top instead of just 2″. I’d also make the feet a little longer for greater stability, in case a spankee has really long legs and aggressively pushes off with her toes. I doubt the box would pitch forward, but it might lift up an inch or two.

I like the idea of dual-purpose spanking furniture that won’t raise any eyebrows when vanilla friends drop by. I saw this restored daybed in the window of a local upholstery shop several years ago, and the kinky portion of my brain immediately registered it as a stealth spanking couch.

The high end of the lounger keeps most bottoms at the right height and angle, and the thick padding makes it a very comfortable place for miscreants to take a whipping. Just throw a blanket over the raised end, give your spankee a pillow to clutch, and break out the leather.
